First Annual Conference on Astronomical Data Analysis Software and Systems November 6-8, 1991 Tucson, Arizona Dear Colleague, This is our final mailing prior to the First Annual Conference on Astronomical Data Analysis Software and Systems to be held in Tucson, November 6-8, 1991. The meeting is being sponsored by the National Optical Astronomy Observatories (Tucson, Arizona), the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory (Cambridge, Massachusetts), and the Space Telescope Science Institute (Baltimore, Maryland), and is being hosted by NOAO. The Program Organizing Committee would like to thank NASA and NSF for their support of this Conference by providing special grant monies. A preliminary Conference program along with a list of Conference participants is enclosed. 41 oral papers are scheduled during the general session. 80 or more poster papers and demos have also been scheduled. Several special sessions (BOFs) are planned as well. The proceedings of the Conference will be published as part of the Astronomical Society of the Pacific Conference Series. Information on the proper format for publication is enclosed. There will be a Conference reception at the Radisson Hotel the evening of November 5, from 7-9pm. Light snacks will be provided and a no-host bar will be available. We hope you can join us Tuesday evening to say hello and to meet with other Conference participants.
