A workshop on electronic distribution of preprints will take place in conjunction with the ADASS Conference on Thursday September 29, also at the Omni Hotel. Participants of ADASS may register for this workshop for an additional $25. For those interested in attending only the preprints workshop the registration fee is $50. The workshop promises to be interesting and controversial, and will include presentations by research astronomers, overseers of current on-line preprint services, experts in electronic publishing and network information systems, librarians, publishers, and legal/policy experts. For additional information about this workshop, contact Bob Hanisch (hanisch@stsci.edu).
