TABLES -- The Space Telescope TABLES package consists of applications software,
utility packages, and support software used to manipulate STSDAS tables
files.
	The tables directory here is a copy of major parts of the TABLES
distribution directory on the main STScI ftp archive.  It includes all source
and binary distribution files from the STScI archive as well as TABLES
package binaries compiled locally on the NOAO systems.
