Tabular data which have been published in journals over the past several years have been converted to HTML and are now available on the World Wide Web at http://www-astro.phast.umass.edu/tables/. Much of this data originates in the papers available in our on-line preprints at http://donald.phast.umass.edu/sfpreprints.html. However, we also collected other data tables from previous papers where the data were still available on disk and have made these available as well. Further data will be added as it becomes available.
In the press to move on to new jobs and new responsibilities, many new Ph.D.s often do not write up the research contained in their theses for broader publication. Perhaps more important, large databases may remain inaccessible. We have undertaken to ameliorate this problem by making the Ph.D. theses from the Five College Astronomy Department available on the World Wide Web at http://decoy.phast.umass.edu. At this time we have 4 complete Ph.D. theses available over the Web. The theses are available, on a chapter by chapter basis, in HTML for browsing on-line, and as compressed Postscript files which can be downloaded and printed locally. The data associated with these theses, both tabular and image, are also available. Tabular data are presented in HTML tables, easily saved to the local disk.
Data, such as spectra, are also made available at our site. Information about the data is available for browsing in HTML. The data files themselves are available in FITS format and can be downloaded directly over the Web. Figure 1 shows the presentation of the data for the paper on spectral standards in the red (Allen & Strom 1995).

Having developed the scripts to easily convert LaTeX and eroff tables directly into HTML tables, all of the tabular data that was still available electronically was gathered and prepared for distribution. These tables are indexed by author, using all authors on the papers. For each author, all available data are listed by paper. Where papers are available on-line, links are provided to the paper. Links are also provided to the indices for all co-authors as well as to the index for the tables in each paper. Within the index for each paper, links are provided to each available data table.
Within the constraints of the Netscape HTML tables implementation, we have attempted to make easily readable versions of the tables from the journal papers. Figure 2 shows the presentation of a small table from Hillenbrand et al. 1995. Presenting the tabular data in this fashion allows the reader to save the data to his/her local disk as a white space-separated ASCII table. If the ALT tag is used, the Greek letters and mathematical symbols are even saved.
