IRAF V2.10.4 Released
V2.10.4 is primarily a bug fix and system support release. This
release fixes numerous, mostly minor, bugs in V2.10.3BETA. The applications
are largely compatible with V2.10.3BETA since we are holding off on major
application introductions or upgrades until V2.11. (Most new applications
software is available via add-on layered packages from our archive's
/iraf/extern directory).
This release is available only for
SunOS,
Solaris, and the new
Dec Alpha and
PC Linux ports.
The Solaris/IRAF release adds support for Solaris 2.4 and the
SunSoft version 3 compilers. The release was tested on both Solaris 2.4
and Solaris 2.3 and so far as we can tell, should work fine on either
version of Solaris. A list of parameter changes
for this release is also available.
